VCTC – General Marketing & Outreach

Establishing a VCTC brand and increasing public awareness of VCTC’s role as a regional planner and provider of transportation projects and services were primary goals for the 2016 Fiscal Year. Celtis is a strong advocate of establishing a baseline of ongoing communications to keep VCTC top of mind. A multi-channel, community-based approach was used to reach individual audiences within Ventura County.

Celtis created a suite of information that included social media, spot drive-time radio, ever-green branded promotional items, targeted media relations and community newspaper advertorials running in local and specialty publications throughout Ventura County. Celtis also continuously updated content to digital and traditional information materials (website, brochures, eBlasts, customer information, etc.) as well as beta-tested Google trip planning data for future use on the GoVentura.org website.

During the 2016 Fiscal Year, Celtis also placed heavy emphasis on VCTC’s social media presence. The agency’s Twitter and Facebook account were refreshed to mirror its evolving brand. Nearly every post was enhanced with eye-catching photos and graphics to increase social engagement. Celtis created original videos tailored to social media sharing, which earned tens of thousands views across multiple platforms. The result: double- digit growth in followers for VCTC’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
